Hello counter cartographers from all over. Today we are happy to launch notanatlas.org!
Until the release of the book on October 20th we will upload a new counter cartography project (almost) every day. We will do so until all the counter-maps in our publication “This Is Not an Atlas” (transcript 2018) are online. From October 20th on you will also be able to download the complete ebook for free – it is published under the Creative Commons license! But this is not the end of the project. We will continue collecting, editing and publishing counter-maps here in 2019…, so feel free to propose your maps, techniques and reflections and become part of notanatlas.org. Stay tuned and map on.
